Hiking Aigle to Panex to Ollon, Switzerland.
So I kind of chose my own adventure on this one because I got a late start and I knew I didn’t want to hike the original trail I had in mind which you can find here on AllTrails. I wanted to see a little Swiss town and try to get to the other side of the mountain a bit, so that’s what I did. This is a darling little hike, it only takes about an hour to get to Aigle from Lausanne by train, making it an easy endeavor when you don’t have a lot of time. Getting further into the mountains often takes more time, so you use a lot of effort to even start a hike. Anyways, because of the lower elevation, you should be able to hike it most of the year. You get to see loads of vineyards, a beautiful castle, wander through the woods, see some cows and a Swiss village with beautiful potable water wells.
