Hike for the best views in Sion, Switzerland

With the snow falling but the ambition to keep hiking blends together, I had to find a way to get my steps in over the weekend while not having to strap on snowshoes or skis. Sion is one of those places that never get old, with the castle being at the centerpiece of the town, and it’s small winding cobblestone streets. Above the city are endless vineyards and paths winding throughout the forest. This hike goes straight from the train station, up into the hills, and around a small lake. Don’t forget to look back every once in a while to see some insane views.
